🤑 Free Money? Yes Please.

You read that right — the government is offering you up to $500 for free. No strings attached. No scam. Just cold, hard cash added straight to your retirement nest egg through the government super co-contribution scheme... if you meet a couple of simple conditions.

🎯 Who's Eligible?

To qualify for the super co-contribution, you need to meet these criteria for the financial year:

  1. Earn less than $60,400 (for the 2024-25 financial year, or less than $62,488 for 2025-26). To get the full $500, your income needs to be below $45,400 (or $47,488 for 2025-26). Above that, the payout tapers down.
  2. Have at least 10% of your income come from employment or running a business.
  3. Be under 71 years old at the end of the financial year.

That’s it. If that sounds like you, read on!

💰 How It Works

For every $1 you contribute to your super (after tax, which is known as a non-concessional contribution), the government will chip in 50 cents, up to a maximum of $500.

So, if you make a personal contribution of $1,000 into your super fund, they’ll toss in $500. Where else on earth can you get a guaranteed 50% return on your money?

To make a contribution, just contact your super fund — they’ll give you the BPay details and tell you exactly how to do it.
